She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences and a Master’s degree in Pedagogy with a specialization in Intercultural Teaching. Currently, she works as a professor at the National University of Chimborazo and is the Coordinator of the Sapikuna Project.

Teaching Kichwa with a communicative approach
The Sapikuna project focuses on the teaching of Kichwa language to the population that is over 17 years old in the provinces of Imbabura and Chimborazo. The importance of the creation of didactic materials that contribute to the process of training speakers of the Kichwa language with complete linguistic competences through daily and very frequent situations in which culture is emphasized is highlighted.
