    She is an educator with a background in Education Sciences and Pedagogy, she pursued her master’s studies in Intercultural Bilingual Education at the Universidad Mayor de San Simón in Cochabamba, Bolivia. She works with indigenous communities and higher education institutions on topics related to education, curriculum, teacher training, language teaching, and online education.

    The challenge to Bilingual Intercultural Education teachers training. Reflections from the experience of the UPS-EIB Program

     

    The main purpose of this presentation is to talk about the experience of UPS’ Bilingual Intercultural Education degree when shaping teachers for the Bilingual Intercultural Education System. It will especially focus on the work that has been carried out in the recovery and strengthening process of the indigenous language of future teachers, from a program of virtual Kichwa learning. We will show all the achievements, difficulties, and challenges we have found along the way.
