Promoting the transmission of the Kichwa language through the involvement of traditional midwives

“Kichwa shimita Pakarichishun” is a project focused on women as carriers and transmitters of knowledge through language. The main actors in this project are the traditional midwives (mamas parteras) and pregnant women. Both play a crucial role in the transmission of the Kichwa language during the stages of pregnancy and its evolutionary growth process.
